  • A.

    "Occupancy" means the purpose for which a building is used or intended to be used.

    B.

    "Occupant" means a person, over one (1) year of age, occupying or having possession of a building or any portion thereof.

    C.

    "Occupant load" means the total number of persons that may lawfully occupy a building at one (1) time, as determined by the Seattle Building Code.

    D.

    "Owner" means any person who, alone or with others, has title or interest in any building, with or without accompanying actual possession thereof, and including any person who as agent, or executor, administrator, trustee, or guardian of an estate has charge, care, or control of any building.
