§ 20.60.122. Inspection of deliveries

  • A.

    Departments shall inspect deliveries of Goods and Services and accept them as to conformance with contract specifications.

    B.

    To facilitate such inspection, Department personnel having responsibility for receiving Goods and Services may be designated as representatives of the Department for such inspections.

    C.

    All Goods and Services shall be receipted for by an authorized Department representative and a written report of such receipt shall be recorded. No payment shall be made for Goods or Services unless receipted and recorded.

    D.

    Return or exchange of Goods received by a Department shall be handled by the Department, which shall obtain a credit memorandum from the firm that supplied the Goods.

    E.

    Invoices issued against Goods and Services, leases, rentals, or repairs shall be submitted to the Department, which shall approve the same as to price, delivery, or work performed before any payment shall be issued.
