Except as provided by ordinance, the Director shall purchase, sell, transfer, contract
for, rent, or lease all Goods and Services other than expert and consultant services
needed by departments and offices. The Director is authorized to enter into cooperative
agreements with any government agency to share contracts or competitive solicitation
results, and may execute or amend such contracts as needed to incorporate City terms
and conditions. Such purchases shall be separately invoiced and paid by the respective
purchasers. Contracts and purchases made for the City under such agreements shall
be exempt from the provisions in SMC 20.60.106.
